Formwork Designs Ltd take the privacy of your information very seriously, hence we do not sell, distribute or give out any of our customers’ information. Please be assured that any personal information you give us, stays with us.

2.0 Information collected by Formwork Design Ltd, and use of this information


We only collect the necessary information to ensure a secure ordering process, although it is not compulsory to give us this information, if you do not then we will not be able to provide our services to you:


  • Name – we need to store this to identify you in the provision of our services

  • Physical address, billing address – we keep this information to process your order, manage your account or send any relevant correspondence

  • Telephone number – we may be contacting you about your order, payment or general customer services

  • E-mail address – we will e-mail you when processing your order, to notify you of any changes to our services or procedures, holiday closing times or general customer service purpose

  • Credit Rating – if we require this information when contacting industry approved credit rating agencies when you open credit account with us

  • Bank details (only where applicable)

After consenting to us using your data as described in this Policy, your information needs to be retained within our financial records in accordance with HM Revenue and Customs (HMRC), guidelines for retaining financial information.


We only keep your personal information for as long as it is necessary for the purpose for which it is provided, or we are legally required to do so.

Currently we do not offer credit accounts, however should this change in the future, we may share information with credit agencies when processing your credit account.


We will not disclose any of your information without your permission unless we are required by law to do so (court order, prevention of fraud or other crime), or to enforce our Terms of Conditions or to protect our rights or property.

We maintain physical, electronic and procedural safeguards designed to help us protect and manage your information. All employees are bound in their employment contracts to keep all the information confidential and not to disclose it to any person or company during and after the termination of employment.

You have a right to access your personal information, request a copy of the personal information that is being processed by us or have errors in your details corrected. You can request to remove your information from our database, however we may keep some of your personal data for as long as reasonably necessary for our legitimate business interests, including fraud detection and prevention, and to comply with our legal obligations including tax, accounting and administrative purposes.
